As an artist I wanted to created pieces of art that would capture the sentiment and feeling that we share with the animals in our lives. I also wanted to create items that would be useful and be past down in a family, so that the stories of the loved shared would be pasted on.
Where do you find inspiration?My own pets, The animals in this world add so much to our everyday life in love and comfort. I feel they deserve a place of honor in our lives. I know what I do is not thought of by many as true art as some would see it. But I know It brings joy for those I have created it for and after 30 years designing for theme park , museums and the toy industry, what I do now has more meaning.
What would you do with $25,000?Part would go to charities for animal welfare . The rest would be given to my daughters, who are both artist to futher their hopes and dreames.
