My favorite type of art to create is anything that speaks to peoples souls. Humans as a collective have become far too numb to the joys and pains of life. We so often we forget that at the end of the day we need each other to hold space for one another. Through an endless range of mixed media I hope to remind us of this fact of life.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from the people around me and the people that connect with my art. In some way shape or form we are all craving to be seen and understood and this is the main reason why I create. To create a conversation that speaks on a deeper level than language or routine.
What would you do with $25,000?With 25,000 I would fund a community space where people from all backgrounds can convene and connect with one another through art, music, dance, poetry or what have you. I would also give back to my family who has been a huge part of my desire and inspiration to create the change I want to see in the world.
