I create art to tell stories, spark emotion, and build worlds that connect with people beyond words.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I would love to say I'm into something different and unique but I truly enjoy pen and ink more than medium I've tried, and I've tried it all. Since I'm a strong freehand illustrator, pen and ink help extend my imagination freely while other mediums slow me down. There is something about a fast and fluid drawing that resonates with me, probably because I spent my childhood doodling and having fun with art, before it turned into my job.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere: in loose doodles, daily conversations, other artists’ work, and quiet time alone. I’m drawn to contrast—the beauty in darkness, the strange side of nature, and the emotions hidden beneath the surface. Those moments help me turn feeling into visual worlds.
What would you do with $25,000?I would put the $25,000 toward creating a shared studio space in my city where artists could come together freely to create, collaborate, and build community. A space like this would give artists room to experiment, connect, and inspire one another while making art more accessible and alive locally.
