I love art because it lets me feel deeply...happy, sad, curious, and travel through time into the world of every piece I create.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I create art that blends realism and surrealism, grounded in emotion and storytelling. I started with portraits because I believed mastering the human face would train me to create anything, and it did. Portraits taught me discipline, patience, and depth. Now I explore beyond that—mixing organic and geometric shapes, bold color contrasts, and imaginative concepts. My art reflects both structure and freedom, inspired by classical masters and my own evolving voice.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in observing people, their stories, emotions, and silent struggles. I listen, I absorb, and I translate that into art. I want my work to carry a message, something meaningful but also hopeful. I lean toward the positive side, creating pieces that can empathize with anyone who stops and looks. For me, art is a conversation between me and the viewer...spoken through realism and surrealism.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in high-quality art materials to continue growing my work. I’m not rich, but I’m rich in vision. I also want to give back by supporting art organizations in the Philippines. My dream is to build a small art studio where I can teach kids, especially those with limited opportunities. Art changed my life, and I want to pass that on. This isn’t just about me, it’s about creating opportunities for the next generation of artists.
