My art holds the emotions of my childhood and the ones I carry now, woven together. It is the only language that feels completely my own.

My favorite type of art to create are contemporary realism still life/composition paintings of toys from my childhood. In addition, I like to draw/paint portraits of people that have been in my life.
Where do you find inspiration?A lot of my inspiration comes from my childhood. From a time of innocence, with no knowledge of cruel realities of this world. Through those paintings, I aim to preserve my memories in the paintings. Every millennial can feel a rush of nostalgia when they see these toys from the 90s. As for my other work, I dive deep into my feelings, and express myself in a way I cannot express myself verbally. Drawing/painting my thoughts are of the best ways I know to express myself.
What would you do with $25,000?With 25K, I would invest back into my art. I would upgrade in studio space, and materials (you can never have too much). I would also like to invest in a line of merchandise like prints and shirts. Everyone should be able to enjoy art for their home, office, or place of business. I would also invest that money into my current schooling as I am working on my masters in painting. I would also invest money into my savings as well.
