My work uses sand to highlight contrast, where shifting light and shadow reveal how memory forms, fades, and reshapes itself.

I love to make art that plays with contrast; texture & finish, light & shadow, anxiety & serenity.
Where do you find inspiration?I continue to turn to the ocean. The sea in and of itself is full of contrast: wet & dry, water & sand, light & dark. It can create great calm and great distress.
What would you do with $25,000?I’d use the $25,000 to upgrade my studio from a bedroom in the house to an outdoor shed. Our house is a bit small and as we plan to expand our family, this would be the greatest gift.
