My favorite type of art to create is art based around nature and, more specifically, animals. I've always felt connected to the natural world, and drawing/painting animals is my way to show my appreciation for them. I use all forms of medium: ceramic, acrylic, oil, gouache, watercolor, pencil, charcoal, etc. I want to try as many mediums as I can! It is so fun to explore the art world and to grow my skills as an artist.
Where do you find inspiration?I draw my inspiration for my art from religion and nature. I think both are deeply connected and it is always so fulfilling to study both worlds. I have artists on both sides of my family; my grandpa inspires me a lot, he's done watercolor for a very long time and has become skilled at it. He, along with religion and nature, all inspire me to become a better artist and person overall.
What would you do with $25,000?I would put some of it towards my college funds and put the rest of it towards savings and investments so I can be adequately prepared for when I move out of my family's house.
