I create art because it is the only thing that brings me to peace. I create to open people’s minds and to explore and express my own.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I was inspired by Salvador Dali to create art that incorporates surrealism. I love creating pieces that can be interpreted in many different ways and make the viewer feel something emotional. To me, nature exhibits the perfect form of artwork in the sky at sunrise and sunset. I like to create my own skyscapes that feel like you can jump right into them.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature and from spirit itself giving me ideas that I just have to turn into a creation right away. I am currently working on my own Tarot Card deck called Divinely Protected, starting with the major arcana cards. All cards incorporate butterflies in bubbles. This is meant to symbolize the fragility of life and how divinely protected we really are as humans.
What would you do with $25,000?I would continue my passion with creating and make my dream of being a full time artist a reality.
