I love creating art because I want to reach people, in a way that is helpful and will help others grow in how they see the world.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Creating comics and characters is something prevalent but if I had to pick between them creating characters and their stories behind them is my favorite. Whenever my art has a story tied to it is when i focus solely on it.
Where do you find inspiration? In my moments of joy, disappointment, people, media like shows and books i have read, characters i have come to love even companies, but mostly on my walk with Christ. Most people dislike it and i watch their reactions and i understand why but the world around me is what i look at in different lens. Problems people have or even accomplishment's i try to put into my art and write a story that challenges both me and the others. The Truth isn’t beautiful and i feel inspiration by that the truth.
What would you do with $25,000?I want to use it for better benefit of others, and i mean it in the way of me ending my bachelors and being able to finish school well. I want to be able to reach as many people with many stories and media. and this would be able to help boost the time I’ve given in school and at work. while art can seem small it can really impact others lives just as it has impacted mine.
