What is your favorite type of art to create?

My passion is music and film. I stepped away from performing when the industry tried to control how I create and connect. Since then, I’ve been building behind the scenes—challenging outdated systems and carving new paths for artists to thrive without sacrificing authenticity. I’m here to disrupt the rules, not follow them.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in everything—the beauty of the life cycle, the struggles of humanity, and the rhythms of nature. Acts of kindness and moments of vulnerability spark creation. I believe all emotional expression is art, whether we recognize it or not. My goal is to show how creative expressions of love can change the world, which I explore through the online personas I’ve created to bring this vision to life.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would use the $25,000 to produce a documentary pilot for my nonprofit multimedia company, building a self-sustaining ecosystem where creatives thrive through collaboration and shared resources. Inspired by my blog, midwestemogirl.com, and my “Letters to My Future Self” series, this project supports emerging artists with tools, mentorship, and opportunities to create sustainable careers while telling authentic, impactful stories.
