I paint old windows using the glass as my canvas. It’s my small way of helping the earth by preventing less waste in landfills. I create one-of-a-kind mixed media paintings guided by intuition. I love layering color, texture, line and finding peace in the spaces between.
Where do you find inspiration?I live in a beautiful area called Door County, WI. I am surrounded by boreal forests filled with magical moss, mushrooms, sacred wildflowers, crisp, clean waters, star-filled skies and animals and insects straight out of fairytales. I breathe in inspiration daily! I am also inspired by the centering energy of love, the art of noticing and the presence of now.
What would you do with $25,000?I would love to open a creative art space in my community where I would teach lessons to children and adults of all ages and abilities. The art space I envision would be affordable, inclusive, and focused on healing each other and the planet through a variety of creative processes. The ultimate goal: JOY.
