I make art to deal with stress. That’s it.

When I am in a good mood, I build things. When I am stressed out, I paint. When I’m really stressed out, I write poems. What I want to do for this project is create something that showcases how art can be used to regulate the mood.
Where do you find inspiration? From my grandmother, who gave me colored pencils every Christmas after I gave her a drawing. From my mother, who let me stay up a little later in high school to write poetry after I cried in her arms about losing my friend to liver cancer. I also have to thank this fucked up society who inspires me to make art cocktails out of prescription pills.
What would you do with $25,000?Pay bills. God bless America.
