Art is my life & my life is art. If I don’t create, I feel like I’m dying. No matter the medium, the end of the world will find me creating.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I feel magnetically pulled towards creative writing. When words seem inadequate, I turn to fiber arts, paint, colored pencils, collage, clay, and a few dozen other types of art. Jack of all trades!
Where do you find inspiration?Genuinely anywhere and everywhere. There’s a poem in everything, if you know where to look: A rotten banana peel, a wedding proposal, war, birth, spoons, black widows, a broken arm… the list goes on.
What would you do with $25,000?My dream is to get my master’s degree in English and Creative Writing. I want to be a college professor, so I can inspire and be inspired for the rest of my days. With $25,000, some funds would go towards housing and living expenses while in grad school, some to savings, and a good chunk of change to my creative endeavors and sharing my art with the world.
