I create art because it's how I process everything I see and feel in the world.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Figurative illustration: a person telling a story without words that can be misconstrued or interpreted differently from viewer to viewer.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere! I love people watching, so I can find inspiration virtually everywhere.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to create a consistent body of work. The goal is 10-20 large scale paintings that make up a “Transient Echos” series. The theme will explore the beauty of fleeting moments in life: the mundane scenes and experiences that are here one second and gone the next. Those in-between moments we rarely remember, but fill our lives as we go from one large event to another.
