I love capturing portraits of people, showcasing what they love about their family and loved ones. Other than that anything patriotic and that helps me identify my culture to the world will be painted.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration from my homeland Ethiopia, music, songs, peoples life experience , personal life experience. I love capturing my culture , and my upbringing. It is my identity. Leting others see their upbringing of their own portrait make them realize how far they have come.
What would you do with $25,000?$25,000 to be honest I can say I will do this and that with it but even taking the courage to be able to just submit my work for this project is a big step. Winning this honestly will be a blessing more than anything.
