I love art because without it I would not have a voice to speak about the struggles of my life and being human.

Art which explores the darker side of my life. Works which peel back any layers of metaphor or abstraction and blatantly state how I have dealt with a life of self harm, suicidal thoughts, loneliness, self hatred, and many other subjects. I find it entertaining to clash these dark and serious topics with characters that look like they came straight from a cartoon but are ultimately meant to be interpretations of myself.
Where do you find inspiration?I used to find inspiration from cartoons I watched as a child. But as time has passed I've become more inspired by my own life or more specifically my struggle to find a meaning in life. I always start my creative process by thinking of something I want to say in a painting and create a character that is either related to that topic or that I find is a good interpretation of how I feel or look while I'm making up that specific character.
What would you do with $25,000?I would like to put the reward money towards my artwork, whether it be paying for the cost of canvases, paints, brushes or experimenting with different mediums. What matters most to me is continuing to create art about my life for as long I live. This money would allow for me to do just that and possibly help me find new ways to put my art out into the world for more people to see.
