For me, painting is therapeutic. Painting is the combination of making decisions and dealing with the outcomes one brush stroke at a time.

I love making abstract paintings. I usually begin with an idea of a color palate, and technique and let the color lead the way. I really enjoy adding lots of layers to my paintings to add a lot of depth, dimension, and movement to my work. I also love using pendulums to create layers of liquid paint. I also enjoy playing with light and use a lot of UV-Reactive and Phosphorescent paint, creating a completely different appearance in different lightings.
Where do you find inspiration?I find a lot of inspiration from my community. I paint live on Twitch, getting color suggestions from chat, helping to inform a prompt of colors that I probably wouldn't have chosen otherwise. For instance, one day we chose Chartreuse, Mauve, and Taupe; and I was pleasantly surprised with what I was able to create with a seemingly strange color combination. And, of course, some favorite artists I draw inspiration from are Andy Warhol, Callen Schaub, Piet Mondrian, and Roy Lichtenstein.
What would you do with $25,000?I'd use the $25,000 to put on a showcase for my work. While I've brought my art to conventions like TwitchCon, I've never shown my art in a gallery or in person. A lot of my art involves UV-Reactive Paint, and I would love to create a showcase that can harness the complexity of my work that is, just, best to be experienced in person. I'd love for my grandma and family to be able to experience my work beyond just photos online. Besides the show, I'd invest in bigger canvases and more paint!
