It's therapy for me. I enjoy the process and it gives me solace. There is peace of mind in art! Peace!

Receive Text UpdatesThe kind that let's you just have fun attempting to put an idea to life. It's amazing what happens when you're just having fun! I can't express everything I want yet but, I will keep trying. The experience of making the art itself is what keeps me motivated and coming back. Depending on the week I may want to chisel a wooden bowl, paint acrylics onto canvas, play the guitar, or grind a metal canvas. Most of the time though I include music as part of the day when creating all this other art.
Where do you find inspiration? In the little things, the simple feelings that come from a good cup of coffee or a sunrise/sunset on the way to wherever you might be going. From a song that is played on those meaningful days that, just match your phase in life at that moment, that moves you to that higher level of existence. Just trying to be grateful or positive despite whatever is hindering your vibes. With acrylics, the paint will inspire me to try and make it cool or fascinating and meaningful to me.
What would you do with $25,000?Great question! I'd love to find out. I'd probably go see the Redwoods in California which are far from home. A bucket list item. I'd give to the Arbor Day Foundation and the homeless that come across my path in life. I would give to the Volunteer Fire Department of Springfield, Nebraska as well, they have always been there when I've needed them.
