It allows me to untangle the confusing knot of existence, one thread at a time.

My own. I’ve been developing my style of ink illustration for 20 years and I still find new and exciting discoveries everyday. My work is designed to create a wholly unique and individualized experience for every onlooker. No two people see the same thing, and no single person sees the same thing twice. My desire is to create art that is felt rather than just seen, an entity in the room, whose appearance changes with every glance. Something always breaking apart and reforming into something new.
Where do you find inspiration?I seek out inspiration through authentic human experience. I find it in the tiny marvels all around us. I try to see the world like a child, allowing awe and wonder to spring from the simplest things. Additionally, regular people inspire me more than "The greats". The lessons in compassion, resilience and strength that are demonstrated in the lives of those around me have always amazed me. Regular people, who live and endure, love and work. Friends and family inspire me more than any masterpiece
What would you do with $25,000?The boring things first. I'd pay rent, bills and finally replace that back molar I can't afford. Then I would do something I've always dreamed of, I would buy my friend's art. Not just to support my fellow creatives' careers, but to validate their artistic missions. I know how it feels to struggle for years, fighting for your artistic voice. Me and my wife would fill our tiny studio apartment with art.
