What is your favorite type of art to create?

I am drawn to intuitive abstract expressionism because it prioritizes the act of creation over the final result. This style allows me to immerse myself in the process, experimenting with various tools and media to translate raw emotion onto the canvas without the constraints of a predetermined outcome.

Where do you find inspiration?

My creative process is deeply rooted in the natural world and the influence of music. For me, painting is a meditative practice used to decompress and heal; following a year of profound loss, it has served as a vital tool for my personal recovery and mental clarity.

What would you do with $25,000?

A $25,000 investment will enable the launch of an independent art studio designed to foster local creativity. Beyond a personal workspace, the studio will host dedicated art programs specifically for Indigenous youth, providing a platform for cultural expression and mentorship.
