Art lets me create. It allows me to share my subjects in various media from woodburning to painting, & sculpting. It's my passion & my need.

Photorealistic Wildlife Art, Portraits, and mixed media pieces, colour pencil, as well as pyrography and sculpting. I like combining art techniques that are complimentary.
Where do you find inspiration?I find it in nature and in the stories of people's faces. A majority of my work is animals. I love wildlife, living ecosystems, & nature in general. I find that the faces of people share silent narratives. I've done a lot of woodburned portraits. I like creating & replicating those visions & the things that bring me joy. I hope that my artwork will bring joy to others or inspiration to other artists. I try to share ideas & techniques with new or young artists because I like helping them improve.
What would you do with $25,000?I live in a very tiny place. My dream is to buy a boat, big enough for my cat & myself to live on. To outfit it all electric on solar power, creating or harvesting it's own water. Totally off grid. Then to travel by oceans & waterways to wild & remote places to see & photograph wildlife, see other cultures, create new artwork, & work on publishing a book. My bluewater boat will be silent, & leave no carbon footprint. I'm a conservationist. I hope to find my joy exploring other countries & places
