I work mainly with still photography and I am a cinematographer.
Where do you find inspiration?some reflections on what inspires my collaborative work and the philosophy I bring to our interactions. I find a great deal of inspiration in the common ground we all share; regardless of age or background, we are all faced with life's core issues, and I believe there is immense value in how we navigate them from our unique points of view. Through these professional and personal interactions, we often learn that our initial aor what is right may not be what we feel it is.
What would you do with $25,000?$25,000 in funding for my current documentary project Helping Heroes. This documentary examines an overlooked sector of America: the individuals trained to set aside their core values to join a collective group and fight in foreign lands. My film explores the transition these individuals face when returning home to civil society, often left to fend for themselves without guidance on how to de-escalate from a warrior mindset. The project highlights the stark reality of veteran suicide or help.
