I am a self-taught artist that loves to paint! My work is intertwined with the old and the new. Art is my life and is what I was meant to do
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Abstract art is my favorite I love the freedom it gives me - painting without rules.
Where do you find inspiration?I see beauty in the imperfect, I see abstract in the things that many times are overlooked. Mother nature is my biggest inspiration, the way the elements over time age things with its organic textures and colors that you can’t find anywhere else. My work is intertwined with the old and with the new, capturing the past and the present. Concealing and revealing as I create a sense of history, texture and depth behind each layer. Everyone has a story, and I hope my art unfolds a beautiful one.
What would you do with $25,000?If I were fortunate enough to receive these funds, I would give some to local charities that help ones in need. I would also use some of the funds to go toward purchasing a van, allowing me to transport my equipment and art more easily. This would enable me to travel to more events and share my passion for art with a wider audience, making connections and inspiring others along the way.
