I enjoy building tactile, story rich pieces from rescued papers, paint, and small found object. Each layer uncovering a personal memory. My favorite type of art to create is watercolor mixed media, a practice that allows delicate washes and unpredictable blooms to mingle with textured collage and intimate assemblage. Viewers often tell me the pieces feel like memories they cannot quite place familiar, private, and slightly mysterious.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through feelings like joy, loss, and curiosity, letting my inner currents decide what I make. Memories, moods, and quiet moments steer my hands, materials, and marks. I’m drawn to fleeting light, the hush of early mornings, and the patina on old objects. Conversations, weathered textures, and the unexpected color in a found scrap spark new directions. Silence and small rituals open space for intuition to guide each piece.
