Erin Hesseling

I don’t have a deep meaning to catch attention. It’s just for me. Ex: the angel one was from a hard time, I felt moved to do it (15hr min)

What is your favorite type of art to create?

I’m best at sketching with pencil and paper but I love most types. From the storm cloud light display in our game room to the doodles in my notebook. But none of it was quite like an oil pastel image I created of using opposite coloring of the true colors of the image it was based on. Sadly no image.

Where do you find inspiration?

People ask why I don’t draw as much but it’s not ‘something I do’ it’s more like ‘something that happens’. I’m highly inspired by music/sounds. I’m working on a sketch inspired by The song “Wake Up Calling” by Papa Roach now. Of going through that transformation once you find Christ in your life and your whole self is changed and it’s suddenly all clear. I hope everyone in my life experiences that “Wake Up Calling”.

What would you do with $25,000?

I’d be a bit “boring” in that a good amount would be set aside for the future and my family. Put some towards this house my husband has provided for us and... I would probably turn my house into a Pinterest board on the other hand 😂 and just have some fun with it.
