Anything that makes one think deeply, dream ambitiously, and inspire infinitely would be my intention to communicate through my art. Surrealism illustrates the aspirations that I try to convey in my creations.
Where do you find inspiration?My work is very symbolic. It deals in the genres of Surrealism, Abstract and Fantasy Art. I have a taste for the macabre, getting inspiration from dreams and nightmares, also obtaining inspiration and passion from some of my own poetry, songs I have heard, photos I’ve taken, stories I’ve read, and films I have viewed. My work has been influenced by artists such as Salvador Dali, Andre Kertesz, and Magritte. Creators like Tim Burton and Johnny Depp are also dreamers and visionaries of reality.
What would you do with $25,000?With the money I receive from "The People's Artist" competition I would contribute to causes such as helping individuals with mental health issues and possibly setting up an art studio. I would be grateful for this opportunity to perfect my skills, talent and translation of ideas towards publishing my Illustrated poetry book "Illusions of reality"
