Art is my voice when words fail, it’s a way to honor my roots, bridge my community’s history, and turn raw emotion into a lasting legacy.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My work is basically a mix of high-precision technical lines and deep-dive art history. I’m a tattoo artist and BFA student, so I’m usually balancing a needle or brush , I find love in doing tattoos and oil paint , tattoos last a lifetime while oil painting can last hundreds of years. I like to try and understand time and our relationship with or infinite universe, being blessed to be here, also to share this experience with the world around me.
Where do you find inspiration?I love seeing what artist from the past mastered, love the Renaissance, but also love film from the 80s ,90s and 2000s . I love the los Angeles art scene, rock, punk, rap and Chicano art blends into one , love the beach and urban life as well as the desert.
What would you do with $25,000?I would love to put it into an art studio and creative space, to help the local art scene and community, a place where artist can have creative space for their exploration in their craft , also art galleries and art shows. Buying tools that artist can use for art production.
