I make art to express myself and communicate to others around me about everything from personal experiences to what’s happening in the world
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Abstract expressionism (acrylic on canvas) or charcoal drawing.
Where do you find inspiration? In my everyday life experiences. I work in retail in an Auto Care Center and I experience a lot of different scenarios and cross paths with many individuals. I carry those moments with me and bring whatever I see and feel to the drawing board and do my best to get my message out to whoever comes across my work.
What would you do with $25,000?I would further my education and my art career. As the oldest child in my family I started working as soon as I could to help out with bills, and eventually was forced to put a hold on my education because I simply could not afford it. This opportunity would give me the jumpstart I need to pick up where I left off and show others I do more than just fix things I create them too.
