My art is an extension of my mind and a sovereign space without limitations. Art is a universal language that connects us all.

The type of art that speaks to me the most is block printing, although I’m constantly exploring new ways to express myself with my most recent interest in air dry clay. I am looking forward to exploring both words by carving a rubber block and stamping onto air clay.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration often comes to me in the moment, but ultimately I want my art to make others smile and speak to them in their own way. I get my artistic traits from my parents and I love their creativity. My mother didn’t have access to education in Mexico, but she found a way to survive through sewing. Her tenacity and creativity has inspired me to share my creations with the world. She even made my Quinceañera dress from scratch, one that I drew on a piece of paper.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use $25,000 to help my family and also find a new place with my partner. We currently live in a small studio with a Kitchenette and I do all my art in a 4 ft x 3ft section of the room. I have a little desk I use and store all my supplies in drawers and boxes the best way I can in our small space. If we move into a new home, I’ll have more space to grow and share more art with the world.
