My favorite work is mosaic because it represents transformation, resilience, and the beauty that can emerge from broken pieces. Through mosaic, I recycle discarded materials such as broken ceramic, glass, stones, and found objects, giving them a new purpose and meaning. What was once damaged or forgotten becomes part of something whole again. This process reflects my artistic vision and my belief that beauty can be created from imperfection.
Where do you find inspiration?“I draw my inspiration from everything around me especially nature, where texture and color speak in their own language. I immerse myself in the theme that needs to be expressed, letting emotion lead the process. From that moment, the work begins to emerge. I shape it with the materials I have, transforming them into something raw, intuitive, and unmistakably my own
What would you do with $25,000?If I had the resources, I would rent a car to attend the exhibition I was selected for and bring my artwork with me from Central New York. I would also create a home studio, even in a larger space, because art is not defined by size, but by dedication and vision. I want to build a place where my work can grow, inspire, and be shared with new generations, fostering creativity, resilience, and the power of transformation through art.
