Music is my favorite type of art to create but I often lean on poetry in order to make my words come to life. I know that art is a journey that takes place in the heart, helping us show our most authentic self. I use different artistic expressions in hope to connect with people on a deeper level. Creativity comes in many forms and expressing it is a superpower that I plan to use for the rest of my life.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from a deep part in myself that just wants to make art. It’s like a calling that comes from within. I have been on this creative journey my entire life and I want nothing more than to have the opportunity to be appreciated for what I have to offer as an artist and as a person. I have a unique and positive perspective to offer the world and sharing my gifts and values with the world is one of my biggest inspiration.
What would you do with $25,000?I would start a nonprofit organizations for artist in Miami. This organization would focus on helping artist foster their talent while creating a safe space for artists to be seen and heard. I believe that building community makes artists more confident and helps the creative process. Building a home where artist can come together would really elevate the artistic community in Miami.
