Connect What is your favorite type of art to create?

I use to think that my art style was Impressionism, as i paint, I think my art is very unique. I don’t think there is anything like my art.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration through experiences. This might sound insane but do you ever find yourself so out of spirit and in the middle of it, you are trying to remember at least one little part of the experience. I went hiking to this beautiful place in el sobrante, all I could think was that if my eyes were a camera, I would only shut them to capture every sentimental moment. Every special memory for me has its own canvas.

What would you do with $25,000?

With $25,000? I would like to have part of it to go into my art supplies and half to pay off student loans. It would really mean a lot, if I won. I came from a foster home and was raised by Hispanic immigrants. I would love to tell my story and help anyone that is going through or has gone through what I’ve lived. Would love to create a safe space to talk about many different experiences while converting it into art. Art is seriously what has kept me going my whole life.
