I paint the people in my life as I see them, what they inspire in me, how I see myself, how I feel. I try to capture emotions.

I don’t have a single favorite type of art to create. I tend to explore different styles, but there’s always a consistent thread in my work—a kind of cartoony, naïve aesthetic that shows up in everything I do.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere—mostly in everyday life. The people around me, the way they move, dress, and express themselves, often spark ideas. I’m also inspired by my culture, colors, music, and the small details that might go unnoticed. Sometimes it comes from emotions or personal experiences, and other times from visual things like old illustrations, photography, or street art.
What would you do with $25,000?With the $25,000, I would invest in improving my studio so I can create in a more intentional and professional environment. It would also allow me to dedicate more time to my artistic practice, without the constant pressure of balancing multiple responsibilities. Ultimately, this support would help me focus on developing my work, exploring new ideas, and growing both creatively and sustainably.
