Art lets me embrace my inner crazy, process my feelings, and turn my chaos into something someone else can feel.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art is to create blends abstract art, pop art, and street art. I love pop art for its color and vibrancy, abstract art for its chaos and emotion, and street art for its expression, aesthetic, and the pure love I have for it. These styles shape the way I create, pushing me toward bold, intuitive, feeling‑driven work that lets me express myself freely.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in New York City, from its visual energy to its diverse communities. The colors, textures, and movement of the city spark ideas, and so do the media I consume, including music, theater, film, and the work of famous artists I look up to. Even interior design shapes how I see color, space, and emotion in my art.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use $25,000 to complete my BA in Art Education so I can become the art teacher I aspire to be. I’d also invest in my own artistic practice by funding materials, creating new work, and promoting it professionally. Finally, I’d travel to experience art and its history firsthand, expanding my perspective as both an artist and future educator.
