Where do you find inspiration?

work in painting and sculpture, using wood, rubber, rope, and detritus I collect from the streets in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Conceptually all of my ... Much of Evel’s work reflects his African heritage with his use of minimal form and rope detail. Evel has been a participant and organizer for the Ghetto Biennale since its inception in 2009.

What would you do with $25,000?

English Hold a large workshop to welcome young people who want to learn art in our community and set up a space to store their artwork safely and purchase materials for the many young men and women who want to become artists, but also to learn painting, sculpture and other imaginative art for the disadvantaged in the worst areas. This is a great initiative for our young people who cannot afford to go to art school.
