I love to create art because it makes me apart of something universal and historical. Art connects one another and withstands time.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite subject to create art of is people, especially as portraits or in large groups. My favorite medium to work in is oil paint on wood and canvas.
Where do you find inspiration? When it come to painting people, I draw a lot of inspiration from those close to me or from models who have posed in drawing or painting classes I have been in. I’ll take those people it poses and place them in new settings or situations to create the scene.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won the $25,000 cash prize, I would use it to go back to school. I was an undergraduate fine art and psychology university student but, due to financial hardship, had to step away from school. Pursuing my degree is my ultimate goal and I would love to go back as soon as I can.
