I LOVE oil painting and charcoal! I’m a multi-media artist so any medium really inspires me but my two ultimate favorites are oils/charcoals.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in just about any and everything. I’m a firm believer that art imitates life and with that being said, it’s very easy for me to find inspiration everywhere I turn. Whether it’s outside looking at the clouds change shape, or a day at the art museum, or even watching an animated show/film. I love how everything is connected. Life inspires art and art inspires everything!
What would you do with $25,000?I would save the $25k to start my own art studio. As someone who’s struggled with finding a space where I can make my art, I’ve always dreamt of building a studio for local creators to come and use for their own projects. I’d provide basic art supplies to get them started and offer classes for beginners wanting to learn more about their art medium. It would be a dream come true if I was picked for this opportunity and I’m just thrilled to be participating!
