I create art because it’s the easiest and most expressive form of creativity. So much can be shown and felt in just a simple piece
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I don’t think I have a favorite form of art, everything has its own call in my opinion. Painting makes it easy to work with color and vibrancy, drawing and sketching are the easiest way to make something look exactly how I envision it, digital art is convenient and gives me access to so many tools and textures, and pottery allows me to truly work with my hands and bring something useful to life. So I don’t think I have a form I like the most. Though I can tell you what I like the least; mosaic.
Where do you find inspiration? Most of my inspiration comes from music. Sometimes I listen to a song and I see a scene or object in my head that I just have to put down. A lot of recurring characters or figures in my art are born from song. It’s my belief that music is the key to the soul and some songs really just open me up and I’m able to channel all that energy into my art
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would use most of it to pay for the remaining years of my education. I would invest a good portion of it for a later time and the rest I would use to travel and see some of my family and friends I’ve missed over the years. I’d also try to pursue some of my other hobbies like music and gaming. Maybe buy myself a better drawing tablet and art software.
