I like to blend classical technique with urgent social commentary. One of my favorite subject, the legendary Nora Aunor, serves as more than a muse; she is a vessel for "Filipinism." Through Aunor, I highlights the struggles of Overseas Filipino Workers and women’s rights, transforming pop culture into a platform for social justice. By placing icons in bold, expressive settings, I bridges the gap between Philippine heritage and global awareness, making my art a voice for the unseen.

I find inspiration in the shared human experience—from classical masters and Van Gogh to the profound resilience of our Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs). My art bridges raw beauty and social justice, merging the revolutionary spirit of Rizal and Luna with the passionate, love-filled paintings of Victor Laurel and pop icon Nora Aunor. By drawing from daily life in schools, hospitals, and local communities, I tell raw stories of worker struggles to connect, raise awareness, and drive real change.

Winning is for social advocacy, not personal gain. I will use the $25,000 to fund the Nora Aunor Museum, preserving her legacy and advocacy for freedom, health, equality, and community support. These funds bridge my Filipinism works with a permanent home for her history, featuring Victor Laurel’s portraits. By showing how art helps communities in need, this space brings both icons into one house, honoring her profound impact on Philippine culture and fulfilling my passion to protect her legacy.
