My favorite type of art to create is the songs and soundscapes of music! Merging elements of the past and moments of the present into a tapestry of detailed sound. Records take me away from the world we inhabit and open within a broad vista of beautiful harmony and heartbreaking dissonance. From a great chorus to an incredible guitar solo, recording and production gives a palette for myself to express the best form of art I can.
Where do you find inspiration?In a world where authenticity and integrity are being diminished by the day, I feel the artist has to converge the gap. Being able to tap into the current of creativity and invoke the muse inspired by life and death, the cycle of magic, creating something from nothing by pure response of mysurrounding and the world within me. I use the arts to communicate and connect with those who need to feel the fire of gods and to inspire them to do so themselves!
What would you do with $25,000?the world needs more artists seen and heard. by inspiring others to pick up an instrument, pen, paint brush, camera etc is one of the best ways of connecting with others! $25,000 would be a huge upgrade for me to be able to go forward in an unobstructed way to release my second poetry book “Light of Liberation” with its companion album, documentary and ballet. I would also donate to foundations for animals in need, and creative spaces for artist to converge and create.
