Art is the truest, purest form of communication that can transcend barriers, time and is limitless in its interpretations/interpretors.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
First is music (I play guitar and sing. But am studying into digital production and synthesizer.) I find music to be the most powerful form of art and has the ability to effect people in multiple ways simultaneously. Second is visual, whether it be paintings, multimedia, sculpture or photography.
Where do you find inspiration?Life, experience, mystery. The questions we have about ourselves, existence, possibility. Exploration of philosophy. Justice/injustice. Relationships. The search for understanding. Emotion. The things we feel, want to feel, wish too feel no more so we express them to process and release them. Share them with others so we can help to know they/we are not alone. Connection. Humor. Frustration. Most of all Love.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to try to better my ability to make art. To explore this thing called life more deeply and the situations and ideas that are happening or could happen. To bring awareness to the truths that are obscured and to share the process with my fellow humans.
