Art gives me the ability to visually voice the themes of my heart and the conditions of my soul for people to connect to and feel.

I have an affinity towards creating pieces that explore themes of psychological tension, express the intensity of the inner emotional world, and explore the world of philosophical aestheticism. Some of my work focuses on life’s split second, suspended and tense moments that invite the viewer to confront themselves rather than just observe.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from the harsh reality of inner and outer nature. I’m drawn to the tense moments in life between what is felt inside and what is permitted to be expressed on the outside. I use analogies from my life’s passions studying Biology to voice the conditions of the heart.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use these funds to develop a large scale body of works surrounding a central theme of the meaning of true love. This would allow me to invest in an art studio, more canvas, frames & other art supplies. Moreover, I would build my platform online to share my work in aims of establishing a sustainable artistic practice.
