Creating art is my way of coping with my chronic illness, as well as celebrating the joys of life in such a dark world.

Receive Text UpdatesMixed media paintings with beaded embellishments. My favorite themes celebrate the divine feminine (life), ghosts, ghouls and the afterlife (death). I love creating pieces that highlight social justice issues and human rights that deserve recognition and care.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everyday in the people I love, in strangers who show kindness, in the beauty of nature, and in the never ending cycle of life and death. My art allows me to share my thoughts, dreams, fear, love - all of it - with the world.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in building my studio to foster further work. I would be able to share my art on larger scales through traveling and exhibits. It is one of my dreams to curate a Queer BIPOC art show where I live and eventually take it on the road. I would put money into savings - as a disabled person it’s important to have back up funds during times of illness. I would aim to gift any remaining funds; currently I regularly donate profits from sales for mutual aid funds and causes.
