Mine is sculpture and/or ‘Art’ of any kind as chalice — created to bear the weight of a felt experience. Art imbued w something ineffable that affects the way we think and feel. It is an elusive and palpable shift when fine craft transcends its material boundaries and becomes Art.
Where do you find inspiration?Humans. Unbelievable thinking feeling vessels walking around mostly unaware of the everything, the nothing, the interconnected awesomeness of existence. Right now, it’s women I find fascinating — the blinding light of resilience.
What would you do with $25,000?Materials and fabricators. Continue making the stack of visions a reality. Life size revealing encounters with all of our various selves. Heal. Contribute. Affect. Change.
