You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I love line art, especially when I can pair it with Tanjore painting—it’s an amazing combination. Traditionally, Tanjore paintings tend to look quite similar, but I want to change that. My goal is to use this style to depict historical acts and ancient achievements through visual storytelling. It’s more than just a technique; it’s my personal ideology for the future of my art.
Where do you find inspiration?"My inspiration stems from my grandparents and elders, who were skilled goldsmiths and jewelry designers. Growing up in an environment of such fine craftsmanship, I developed a lifelong passion for creating unique drawings and art. Their legacy of detail and design continues to guide my creative process today."
What would you do with $25,000?"My dream is to open an art gallery right here in my city. I would use this $25,000 as seed capital for my startup to bring my vision to life. More than just a business, this gallery would be a tribute to my parents; making them proud and happy is the true driving force behind my ambition."
