My favorite type of art is creating a custom handmade guitars, guitar hangers and stands from weathered-down trees found around metropolitan Phoenix areas. By recovering the logs, allows me to create a 100% sustainable desert hardwood art. Fractal art is applying thousands of voltage on the wood recreating lightning strikes in random slow motion making unique abstract figures, tree and vein like shapes on the surface of the wood. The fractal burns are sealed with epoxy colors.
Where do you find inspiration?The creative unique design behind each guitar hanger is based on the musicians I’ve come to admire throughout my lifetime that made an impact and inspired me to play guitar. A profound influence on my musical life since childhood. It stands as a symbol of my gratitude for his immense talent and lasting impact on the world of music.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest the money and use it as reserve to purchase tools and parts for my shop. Secondly, I would take 20% of the $25,000 and donate to charities and non-profit organizations related to the music industry. In life, it's all about giving back to the community and make this world a better place to live.
