I am drawn to figurative decay. Sometimes almost abstract, my figures display international emotional states. They display tension alongside beauty.
Where do you find inspiration?I conjure memories from my past and even from learned history. Growing up in the Deep South there is a haunted past that still resonates. I create figures, sometimes male sometimes female that represent my past experiences.
What would you do with $25,000?I’ll invest in my art career by pursuing gallery representation and applying to juried art events to get collectors feedback.
