I’m most drawn to figurative art, especially the human form. I enjoy exploring the body not just as a physical structure, but as a vessel for emotion, tension and narrative. Through posture, gesture and subtle shifts in form, I try to capture moments that feel intimate, raw and psychologically present. My work often leans toward expressive and atmospheric compositions, where the figure becomes a way to communicate something deeper than just appearance.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in master artists, contemporary figurative painters, and the human body itself. I’m particularly interested in how posture, movement, and subtle tension can express emotion. I’m also inspired by real human experiences, quiet moments, vulnerability and the relationship between the figure and space, which I translate into my work.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would invest directly in my artistic practice by creating a stronger and more cohesive body of work, especially larger scale figurative paintings. It would allow me to dedicate more time to painting and push my work further both technically and conceptually. I would also upgrade my materials and studio and invest in professionally documenting my work to reach a wider audience. Part of the funding would go toward exhibiting my work and continuing to learn from other artists.
