I love creating art because it was given to me as a gift of love by GOD at my birth, and it's just as natural to me as breathing!
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Mixed Medium is my favorite! I am a story teller! I love taking found things, everyday objects, natural and manufactured bits and pieces of this and that, and create a story worth telling and an experience worth enjoying.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the sight and colors of nature, as well as the interaction between people. I find inspiration in the evening news and discarded cans haphazardly strewn across the yard. There is no end to the inspirations that capture my attention. For as long as tomorrow is different from today, I will always gave something to write and paint about!
What would you do with $25,000?To be perfectly honest, I would firstly get out of debt by paying off my credit card bills. Next, I'd take my wife to Hawaii. Then I would rent a salon at a major hotel in Atlanta and put up a one man show highlighting my latest series intitled "Fences." I would invite local art collectors, gallery owners, curators as well as local and regional newspapers. It would be Fantastic!! The artworks I have been composing are unlike anything our local, regional and State art world has ever seen!
