I love to recreate with oils scenes from nature that inspire me. I love being outside and capturing color of the seasons, early morning and evening light. I'm lucky to live in Colorado where the choices are endless. As I plein air paint, camp and hike, I find possible paintings all around me. I love listening to the birds sing or painting next to a stream hearing only nature. I enjoy the solitude.
Where do you find inspiration?Outside. In parks and natural areas. Sometimes at the beach. I love to paint children playing, especially my Granddaughter being her innocent self.
What would you do with $25,000?Buy a new easel. Purchase extra art supplies so I never needed to worry about affording them. I would donate art supplies to schools so they could always have them.
